Scanners

You can view information about your scanner and test its operation in the 📠 Scanner Status section.

For Brother, Panasonic, and Pantum devices, additionally:

1. Access the device's web interface at http://uowprint.local
2. Go to the ⚙️ Misc tab
3. Check the box next to "Run AirSane x86 for emulated scanners (Panasonic, Brother, Pantum)" and enter the 5-digit password, highlighted in bold on the device, in the "User Password "uow"" field.
4. Click "Apply."

The scanner will then appear in a separate section 📠 Scanner Status (x86).

Installing a scanner in Windows 10 / Windows 11

Windows 10 build 1809 (October 2018 Update) or later is required.

1. Open Settings → Printers & scanners → Add a printer or scanner
2. Select the found scanner → Add a device

Windows 7, Windows 8

Windows 7 and 8 do not support the Mopria (eSCL) standard and cannot use a scanner system-wide.

Use NAPS2, which supports this standard internally (download the version for Windows 7/8).

Android

For scanning on Android, use Mopria Scan from Google Play.

Other Operating Systems

On Linux and macOS, adding a scanner is not required. Scan from any compatible app, and the device will be detected automatically.

iOS (iPhone/iPad) does not support scanning. However, you can scan one page at a time through the web interface 📠 Scanner Status.
