Network configuration
Go to http://uowprint.local (does not work on older versions of Android) or http://192.168.55.1 (works everywhere ).
To connect the device to an existing Wi-Fi network (your router), in the “Wi-Fi Setup” form, set the “Wi-Fi operating mode” to “Client”, select the name of your network from the drop-down list and enter the network password.
In the “Current user password “uow”” field, you must enter a 5-digit numeric password, which can be found on the device body (shown in bold).
The device will connect to the network immediately as soon as you click the “Apply Wi-Fi settings” button. The web interface will be available at http://uowprint.local (to access the web interface by IP address, look at the IP address in your router settings).
Switching Wi-Fi mode with the button
To switch between access point and Wi-Fi client modes, in addition to the option in the web interface, you can also press the button on the device body, which is located on the side opposite the cables.
The green LED will flash slowly when switching to access point mode and quickly when switching to client mode.
Connection with USB-Ethernet adapter (Realtek)
Starting with firmware 1.14, the device supports wired Ethernet connections using USB-Ethernet network cards on Realtek RTL8152/RTL8153/RTL8156 chips.
If you want to use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi, connect the network card via a USB hub to the device, and insert the network cable. No additional configuration required.
